Towels for Zaino

I bought the Ultimate Show car kit from Zaino. They suggest 100% cotton Made in the USA towels.

I order the Zaino recommended towels from DF Concours-they even link to the site-one month later-no towels, no response to calls or emails-many compaints found online-OK guess they screwed me.

I ordered 100% made in USA from Gilbin's, they get here-not made in USA-feel like 60 grit sandpaper. OK screwed again.

I call Zaino to find out if they know of a place to get these towels. All i get is a phone msg that they are at a car show-for three weeks now I guess?

O Rileys carries 100 cotton but they don't say made in the USA.

No stores near me carry the 100% Made in the USA towels-trust me I have been to every store for 100 miles.

Anybody know where I can get these ******* towels before I lose it?

Never fear, Jedi is here.

the reason they do not recommend microfiber is because not all micro fibers are made the same and the quality can vary quite a bit.
Despite that, microfiber towels are they ONLY towels I use and have had no issues.

Typical example would be the MF towels from Costco that are made in China and contain a percentage of polyester fibers. They still work great for cleaning glass etc. so I would save the 100% ones for Zaino use only.

Griot's Garage has a very good selection of 100% cotton detailing cloths/towels too.

Thanks for you replies. I am going to do the whole thing next Friday and Saturday because we will be having a heat wave-for us in Ohio this time of year that means 70's. I am still delaing with DF and Gilbins to get refunds.

I really like Prima Microfiber towels... Ive used them for over a year and they still leave no streaks and grab water off the car like crazy.

One thing you have to remember is to wash your towels after each use. Wash them by themselves, with liquid detergent, on cold delicate. Air dry, no heat.
