Question surface scratch

I have a titanium gray RX8, and I have a light surface scratch on my door , can anyone suggest what I could use to remove the scratch, like some sort of compound.

Thank you all

Depends how deep. If it went through the clear coat into the gray undercoat you might be able to touch up very carefully. If not then I would first try using a polish to see if it comes off. If you go to a rubbing compound, then get the lightest you can. The problem in rubbing it out might make the mark larger and might need to be repainted. In that case the entire door to make things match. Hope it comes off with some polish for you.

Since it's only a single, light scratch, you might try Meg's ScratchX, or some fine-cut compound. If the scratch is only on the clear coat, there's probably no need to touch up. Here is a link to Autopia's Review section of various polishes you might want to look into. Just remember that these swirl mark removers have to be worked into the paint; don't just wipe it on and wipe it off. G'luck!
