scratch on clear bra

How can I remove some scratches on a clear bra? The scratches I have a quite long... about 6 inches long and several of them. I can't feel any groove so its not deep. It must of been from dryng the car with a shammy. Good thing the car is blue and you can't really see the scratch unless you look up close. Nevertheless, it breaks my heart to see it!

What do you think about the clear bra? Is it worth the money? Or should I just save that money and buff the front end once a year? It's looking like it'll cost about $500 for the kit and install for me is that a good price?

a clear bra is very worth it. especially if you have a fiberglass front. even the stock front gets tons of chips after a while. i had clear bra at one point, but the install wasn't as great as i hoped so it came off after a while. i had no chips for a 3 months time though.

My front end is all chipped up and wish the previous owner had installed a clear bra.

A clear bra is worth every penny. Only I made the mistake of removing baked on bugs on the bra like I do without a bra... rubbed a bit too hard. Scratches on the bra do not just buff out. All my research suggest that once a scratch is there, its there forever. I can't even hide it, but its not noticeable to someone who doesn't know where to look (as with all scratches). But worse comes to worse I'll just replace the bra.

Have you tried Meguiars' PlasticX on it? It might work.

you can probably hide it a little, but a scratch will stay.

PlastX does not work. I used it and then refunded it (is that a word?). I've heard that some proffesional polish using porter cable might work, but its risky. I haven't seen a plausible solution yet.

You could use a diamond cut polish, just be very careful because it will scratch the paint.

Don't forget you can fill it in.

USe Nu Finish on it. The silicone will fill in some of the scratch depth.

Do it three times.

My clear bra installer recommended Meguiar's ScratchX on it if it ever gets scratched. I asked him if he meant PlastX, which I have, but he said that he's tried a bunch of stuff before but he knows ScratchX gives good results. Do you use Plexus on your clear bra regularly? Should help.

I've seen the clear bra for the 8 for around $35.00 on ebay.
