Repairing Paint Chips
Hi.
I bought my 8 about 2 months ago (Brilliant Black) and being as excited as I was to get the car I overlooked and ignored multiple scratches and chips in the paint. I ordered some scratchx along with some other Meguiars products and I'll see what happens with the scratches but I'm not sure how to attack the chips on my hood.
I also bought some touch up paint but i'm a complete Noob on taking care of a car's paintjob. This is the first car I've owned that I care about the paint. Here is what I ordered from Meguiars:
Soap
Claybar Kit
Deep Crystal Polish
Scratch X
Tech Wax
What is the best way to go about touching up the chips and blending them in to look as natural as possible. should I claybar before or after touching it up. I Kinda think it would be good to do it after to smooth out any excess paint. Advice?
I'll try to post some pictures later.
Thanks in advance!

LANGKA paint repair kit.
http://www.langka.com/
I used it on our BB, and I am very satisfied.
What sucks about the BB is the frigging "base" is white, so any chip in the paint is black/white, very noticeable.
Also, another good tool for the BB..................black permanent marker.

I think my orge-istic hands and technique prevented me from getting the results that a lot of people get. I just kept rubbing all the touch-up paint off. A lot of people rave about it, but I guess I just suck at using it. lol I don't care. My chips are filled now. I don't need it anymore.
