Recommendations for waxing crome wheels

I know, I know.. probably already mentioned somewhere but I swear that I tried Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish (economy size looking can) and it dulled the edges near the center of the wheel hub a little bit.. Now I'm worried that it was too abrasive in the wax itself.

Should i just make sure I get a 100% pure Carnuba wax?

Any recommendations?

Mateo - a similar question came up on the UK Owners forum. Many of us use a product called WheelWax (www.wheelwax.net) which both cleans and makes a protective layer against brake dust, salt etc.
