Quick Question About Zaino
Out of all the Zaino threads I have read, none of them have seemed to clue me in on this slight detail.
Situation: Zaino'd my car about 3 weeks ago and it's a bit dusty now. I'd like to add another coat of Zaino without having to remove the original layer.
Question: How can I remove the dust from the car without harming the first layer of Zaino? Will Dawn remove the polish?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Don't wash it with dawn or any other dishwashing soap. They are all too strong. Use a very mild detergent made for cars. I bought the zaino kit and use that wash when I wash by hand.

Z7 is the car wash. Z6 is the spray for between waxings.
I'd be hesitant about using the spray to wash the car for fear of scratching the finish with any particles on the surface.
Just do a quick wash with Z7. Or, use one of those Swiffer dusters if all that's on the surface is truly dust.

1. Use california car duster to get the dirt off.
2. Use damp microfibre towel for a quick wipe. Do not apply too much pressure.
3. Use Z-6 spray to give it a beautiful shine

Read zainos remarks concerning Z6 spray. They highly recommend it for the safe removal of waterspots, fingerprints and light soil. This means dust and it will not scratch! I would say if your car was relatively clean save for some dust, it would be easier to use the spray rather than go through with washing and drying, plus you will likely use the spray after all this as well.

I can vouch for both the California Car Duster and Zaino Z6. I would use them in that order. I was skeptical about the Duster until I tried it -- it's like magic. One caveat for each product, though. The Duster is treated with paraffin, which can melt in very high temperatures -- they recommend not using it on a hot hood, for example. As for Z6, I've noticed some minor streaking when I've used it in direct sunlight.
