Just ordered Zaino had a couple of Q's

I just bought some Zaino:

ZFX ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive 1 $19.95 $19.95
Z-2 Z-2 PRO Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes 1 $14.95 $14.95
Z-6 Z-6 Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray 1 $9.95 $9.95
Z-7 Z-7 Show Car Wash 1 $8.95 $8.95
Z-18 Z-18 ClayBar 1 $16.95 $16.95
Z-10 Z-10 Leather in a Bottle 1 $10.95 $10.95

My question is Is this an overkill? All the pix I've seen have been on dark colored cars. How does this stuff work on lighter colors. I have the pearlwhite rx8.

Yup, what Rx8cited said. I have the Pearl White also, and the Zaino makes it beeyootiful. Wash with Dawn, Claybar, wash with Z-7, dry, then put at least 2 coats of Z-2 w/ZFX on. Then get your sunglasses, stand back, and admire your finish. The only things you might want to add (now or later) are the Z-5 polish and the Tire Gloss. The Z-5 really helps blend in minor surface scratches. If you don't have any surface scratches now, you likely will in the future, so it's worth considering. And Zaino's Tire Gloss is one of the best I've used so far. "Gloss" is really a misnomer, as it leaves more of a satin finish than a gloss finish. That's what I personally like, so it's the ticket for me. Multiple coats of the Tire Gloss will leave a glossier finish, but still not a super-gloss like some other products.

Best,
Bill

I think Zaino is the most impressive on light colored cars. Any good polish/wax will make a darker color look great.

I just zaino'd my car for the first time this weekend and it looks like you've got everything you need.
You can check out my thread here: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...87#post1115087

The only thing I did differently was I did a coat of Z5 in between coats of Z2.

You'll LOVE the results.

Sorry guys, I've been to try and figure this out but What is Zaino? Is it wax?
I'm going to do a good professional wash before winter comes. I have a White Pearl 8 and don't know what to do!!!! I figure...
1) Wash
2) Dry
3) Wax (Zaino? No?)

Zaino yes! Get exactly the stuff posted above, even using the new Z8 in replace of Z6 is better. Check out the Zaino website for the application technique (or search here).....and remember, don't use too much, a little goes a long way and saves time too

Even if I've had the undercoating etc done at the dealership? Would it matter?

Zaino is a "wax", so it would go on your paint just like any other. Apply, then buff off.

But technically its a polymer sealant.
