Not sure what you have, but you wash car like normal. You can use the clay bar to remove bumps and road crap from you car. Just run your hand on your paint to feel for anything, usually get alot on the nose of the car. Just take the clay bar and something like windex, and rub the car down and it will take away alot of the problem bumps. Make sure to keep the clay bar stays wet. When you get done with that rinse the car off and use the wax, do a small section at a time. Like cut car into 3 parts first front nose, fenders and hood. then doors and top of car, and finally rear end. The reason i do it in 3 parts is i dont want the wax to dry alot on the car or it can just be a pain to take it off. Try to make sure your car is cool, dont wax your hood after you just drove 100 miles. What i do is just put it in the garage let all the car cool down from the sun, then do the clay and wax. If you do it in your garage make sure you take it outside in the sun so you can see if you missed taking off any wax.
Sorry if i wrote it and you cant understand, just post other questions, and i will try to clarify.

I wash mine once a week and do a clay ont the front every other week and the whole car once a month. I do a wax every time i do a clay rub as well. But there is alot of construction around me so my black car needs a wash every week atleast.
