How is NXT on the black rubber pieces? Does it turn white and stay?
I hate getting wax on the black rubber pieces on a car because it turns white and it's near impossible to get off. Is this a problem with NXT? I have heard it's not w/ Zaino.

He's as bad as Can
It is a problem if you use the spray wax, hard to control the overspray. Use the rub on wax and be carefull. Had to use Mothers Back to Black to get rid of white crap on the trim.

I don't think NXT turns the black rubber pieces or the gray rear bumper pieces permanently white...but yes it looks funny on it...just be carefull...
also be really carefull with special window washing cleaners (ie stoner, etc) since they will strip of wax very quickly....so spray into towel then wipe off (or use the premade wipes)

I used NXT in the bottle (not spray), and some still managed to get on the rubber/gray parts. It's not permenant, but NXT does turn them white. It's a paid to get off, at least it was for me, lots of elbow grease. I might try window cleaner next time, see if it helps. Only reason it got on the rubber peices was my wife "helping" me.

A little alchohol (isopropyl) or laquer thinner will strip that wax off the plastic instantly. Just follow up with your favorite "black shiny stuff" to eliminate the dull finish left by the cleaner.

I just tried the isopropyl alcohol on my plastic exterior, where I accidentally got NXT tech wax, and it did not come off. Went over it two times. Granted, the wax has been on there for probably a week. The white is still definitely there. Any other suggestions?

Mothers Back to Black will absolutely do the trick. I used it (2 applications) on my bumper for the same reason - got Zaino on it accidently :o Now that I have the BtoB I'll be using it more regularly on the black when I detail the car. It works and you'll be happy with the result

I used the Dawn wash, scratch X, polish and then the NXT. It made the silver a little darker and greatly enhanced the shine. I wonder how many coats you can put on?
Poolsidenaz: I read this rather interesting posting about Back-to-Black and other products, that they do not remove the wax, they just cover it up, so once B2B (or whatever other product) wears out, the white stains come back. The posting recommends, of all things, 3M Adhesive, Tar & Wax remover:

For the life of me, though, I can't find this stuff!! I went to Wal-Mart, Target, Pep Boys, Advanced Auto, and Napa. No luck. So I've resorted to using the Black Magic dressing that I use on my tires. So far so good, but we'll see how it looks in a few weeks.
Has anyone else used that 3M product? If so, where did you get it??

Really! Well 2 coats of BtoB worked for me so far and it hasn't come back since April. Crossing my fingers, but I couldn't be happier with the results. Doesn't rub off of get on anything; just finally helped me get rid of the white wax I'd slopped onto the bumper. Just my 2 cents, but I say try it.
