LOL...yeah I taped off all the black trim so I wouldnt have to worry about getting wax on it (pain in the a#$ to get wax off of black trim).

Beautiful tape job, but zaino is good for clear plastic like headlights and clearcorners.

Yeah staticlag is right, you can use zaino on the clear plastic and on the windows. I would have kept the tape on the dull black plastic though. Looks great!

Looks great! Don't forget to use Z2 last when using both Z2 and Z5. From their website…

"You can go from Z-2 PRO to Z-5 and then back to Z-2 PRO as often as you want. Z-2 PRO and Z-5 are 100% compatible and interchangeable. You should always end with Z-2 PRO as the last coat because of its higher optics."

So what are your thoughts on it Newcastle?

What do you think of the shine? Smooth enough? Worth spending the majority of a day doing?

The Zaino polish kit came with instructions and I followed them (they ddin't mention anything about Z2 for the last coat......perhaps I got some out dated info.). I will check out their website and retain Z2 for the last coat for future applications. Thanks for the heads up and thank all of you for the compliments.

Yeah I was thinking about calling you but it was a last minute deal and I had to bust a$# before I lost what little sun I had, i'll give you a call for the second coat. At first i wasnt impressed with the product but then after the 2nd application of Z6 the "liquid glass" appearance staRted to reveal its self. Deffinatly worth the money and hard work.

Do you have any Z8?

If not, give me a call before you do the next appliation. That stuff is AWESOME if you put on a little bit of that as a "finishing touch"

oh man, you think Z6 is awesome stuff?? wait till you get a load of Z8!

It's what I had just put on when you saw me the day of the RX cruise. Gives it a super deep shine and makes it soooo smooth. No worries though, I'll bring some over next time.

Just got the Z8 myself...won't have time to try it for a few days though...have to do a full wash, as i seem to have driven through a swarm of insects the other day

BTW: Zaino isn't wax, and it comes off of the plastic trim/heads/tails quite easily!

Nothing like wresteling with wax! Sweet!

Z8 also smells really yummy! Don't apply it when you're hungry... could have bad results.
