Consensus on paint care products for Ti Gray?
Is there a board consensus on what combonation of products is best for Ti Gray? I would really like a shine that pops, but this color seems like its a little tricky.
AIO, Klasse SG, NXT, Souveran, etc.?

are you planning on claying and polishing before Klasse and souveran? i wouldnt waste the souveran because its all about paint prep. klasse sg wont good w/o paint prep either. i skip the NXT and go from SG straight to souveran. have fun!
I waxed my tit grey last weekend, it turned out great. These are the steps I did
1. Washed with dawn
2. clay bar
3. mothers cleaner wax
4. meguiers polish
5. NXT
This weekend I'm going to put another coat of nxt on it. I'm happy with the results so far, but I would like to here other opinions. Has anyone did a direct comparison between NXT and other products?

NXT is a type of wax.
Both are easily found in any auto store.
Search if you want more examples.
TiGray is a hard color to bring out full shine. Zaino is best. But you can achieve a similar shine with this process and Meguiar's product line:
1. NXT wash
2. Quik Claybar + quick detailer as a lubricant
3. wash
4. Paint Cleaner
5. Pure Polish
6. 2 coats NXT wax
7. 1 coat Gold Class
I probably won't advise doing this without any machine buffing tools unless you have a lot endurance, stamina, and time.

Tit gray is hard to keep looking good. Kid at work has one ( he makes 9.00/hr and daddy evidently has an inside track to cheap prices) his looks like crap all the time. Course he uses it as daily driver, don't think he ever waxes, already has many door dings. Hate to see an 8 abused like that. But he is just 21 or so. I like the NXT really well so far. mine is mostly driven on weekends but the Nxt has really held up well. Oh yea, and use the NXT car soap, use the armour all brand once and it sucked.
I usually do the following:
Meguiar's wash
Mother's clay bar
Meguiar's NXT Tech wax
It usually takes about 2.5 - 3 hours to do everything...
I'm considering buying the zymol starter kit and giving that a try, they tell me I'll see a big difference, any toughts...
If anyone is using zymol can they tell me wich kind the use, I thinking of going witht the carbon wax.
Also why do you have to polish after clay bar? Is there a big advantage to this?

According to autopia.org the clay bar removes surface contaminants from the paint. The polish contains very fine abrasives to smooth out the paint surface to remove fine scratches, swirls and oxidation. Using a cleaner wax or all-in-one product performs the same function as the polish.
The cleaner and smoother the paint surface is, the better shine.

Zymol is carnauba wax meaning it will melt and evaporate in hot conditions.
Zaino is all synthetic, and rediclously easy to apply and wipe clean.

"Best in Class" honors in the synthetic wax category were awarded to Zaino Brothers Show Car Polish. This product achieved the highest overall score, one of only a handful to receive an overall grade of "B" or better. The test results indicate Zaino offers outstanding shine with unbeatable long lasting protection.

Zaino OWNZ other waxes. I have 25 coats on my 1 yr old 8 and it is so rediclously shiny that it amazes virtually every person that sees it.
I have only 1 sticker on my RX8, and it is the Zaino "Show Car Polish" sticker that comes with the zaino kit. I proudly wear it on my spotless RX8.
Not enough to convince? Read the testimonials on Zaino

Someone has actually commented to me on the street:
"Your RX8 is so shiny that its not even a real color anymore!"
Someone on this forum said it best: An RX8 shaped mirror.

Zaino is no longer just a polish, it is a VERB. Check around the detail section of any high end car forums.
What did you do this weekend? I zaino'd my car.
Honestly u should search the forums better, I just looked in the detail section and there were tons of posts describing how great zaino is.
I'm a NXT convert myself. Once I tried zaino, i knew i would never need to search for a better wax.
