Clay Bars - Any differences?

are there any differences between clay bars? is zaino's better than the rest? any opinions on mothers? meguiar's?

also, on the zaino website...it shows two clay bars in the picture. do you really get two in the container or just one?

Cant speak to the other companies but yes, you get two bars with the zaino - they are about the size of a hotel facial soap. Those work well. I would imagine that claybars are commodity.

Can't compare but I have used the Meguiars with good results. It did two cars and is now too 'dirty' to use again with confidence.

Try Mother's clay bar. It's softer than Meguiar's. Only prob is I've only seen it in a kit with quick detailer and cleaner wax (slightly abrasive like a weak rubbing compound).

Yeah the mothers worked great for me. I didn't use the wax though. Not needed just a little freebie thing.

Anyone tried Clay Magic? i'm gonna use that and see how it goes. 10 bucks and readily available for me. i e-mailed Zaino, and Sal said they're acceptable so why not.

I used the Zaino clay bar with great success. It really helped to clean a lot of contaminates of the car.
