Ok. So I've got everything I need to fix up my green (sans paint but I should have that soon). She's got entirely too many chips in the front along with a handful of other nicks along the sides. So I got my Langka kit in the mail the other day and plan on cleaning up as many as it can get.

I've also got a Zaino kit on the way. So here's my dilemma. What's the best approach to fixing the chips and getting a good cleaning in? Is it better to go through the entire process to fix the chips/scratches one weekend and then go through a thorough cleaning the following weekend? Should I Zaino her and then fix the chips/etc. later?

If I do go the fix/clean route is there any risk to using Dawn on a newly applied and sealed paint? I know Langka says not to power wash/buffer for 10 days but Dawn is used specifically to strip any wax off the body of a car in the Zaino process. I'm a little concerned it might affect the sealant used at the end of the langka process. In this case is it better to go through the entire Zaino cleaning process and then go through the Langka process later? Will that just cause the paint applied in chip repair to show up more than it would if I did the paint first?

Any tips would be appreciated. I'm planning detailed before/after pics as well. Just for s&gs.

personally, i've given Langka a good hard try. and, that stuff is hard as heck to use. the video they have showing that 5 year old applying it on a Lexus is just mind-blowing to me. every time i try to wipe it clean the paint still just ends up getting smeared and uneven and no better than if i just dab the touch up paint directly into the chip and leave it like that. so, i finally gave up on Langka. if someone local to so cal is really good at Langka and wouldn't mind doing a class/ demo, i'm totally game. otherwise, Langka is nothing more than an expensive bottle of touch-up paint remover for me.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Total waste of money as far as I'm concerned. I do step 2 with the cloth stretched across the card tight as hell, just wipes everything clean. Back to step one.
