I used the blade thingy on my car...It helped A LOT...granted i still went over it with a microfiber towel and all...but it made the drying process go SOOOOOOOOO much faster...a lot better looking too i think...

haha...funny...I also used Gas Pedal technique last weekend! It worked great! A quick drive around the block and a single microfibre towel made drying process sooooo easy. I was ready for my Zaino coat with a few minutes after the wash. Good thing about taking a drive after the wash is that you get the water out of the those gaps between glass and body panels.

The squeaking is normal. Will not harm your paint work unless you have a small stone etc lodged in there. I use teh CA Blade every week- awesome tool.

I too used the water technique...for a while....untill I got my water bill. I was using twice as much water to wash the car than usual.

I switched to the blade because they usually start water rationing in the summer and will DOUBLE you water bill if you use more than a percentage over your average winter water usage.

I keep the blade in my car to take care of after the rain when the 8 is outside. Otherwise, I use the flowing water technique and there really isn't enough water left on the car to use the blade.

I've been using the blade for years and many people have pulled over to ask what I'm using while drying my car. It works great!

I'm gonna have to agree with the majority of people on this one...the blade is great, and I've never had any problems with scratching!

It speeds up the process of drying, which is excellent for warmer climates where the water evaporates before you even have a chance to get it off of there. Additionally, it leaves the glass much closer to spot free than they otherwise would be.

This product causes :D and avoids .
(I'm gonna try the water-drying technique next time I wash the car *thumbs up*)
