armor all damage?
I went for a car wash today, asked them to armor all my tires
They must have misunderstood because they also started to armor all my interior..
I stopped them before they could finish completely but nonetheless they did manage to get the doors, both front and rear passenger/driver
Needless to say, it doesnt look too esthetically good.. Very shiny, very greasy to the touch, etc
I had them try to wipe it off, they did.. But its still there
I got home, tried to get some more off with just a dry towel, no luck..
After talking to a few friends tonight, ive heard some 'horror' stories about armor all, basically that it fades interior colors, etc
My questions are; will 1 time armor all usage have any effects to the color, etc? How long will the damn interior stay this shiny/greasy? Is there any way to clean it off safely?
At this point the interior looks a bit funny.. the doors are super shiny whereas the dash is 'matt'.. To most people they probably wont notice.. But i have OCD when it comes to crap like this

Don't worry..if you've been taking care of your interior properly, one 'application' of Armour All isn't going to hurt. BTW, I've used A.A. on my leather interior for years (when it first came out) without any problem. I've never experience cracking or dryness some people claim. I use 'proper' leather conditioners now, but I wouldn't fret over it. Unless someone has actually come out with a test comparing A.A. to other leather cleaners/conditioners and show real life results, it's all just hearsay.
