Wet sanding the clear on a car fresh from the factory to get rid of the orange peel? First time I've heard of that...
But I've seen the Bora project thread before. While I do admire the work he put into all aspects of the car, some things like claying the inside of the rims is a little overboard for a daily driver. And why clean a rim before its refurbed? Isn't the point of having it refurbed, to bring it back to "new" condition?

Yes, in fact I am. Though I did not need to go to that extreme of a clean process.

Personally I'd hand it over to someone else to get the peel out, as I don't even have a PC, let alone a rotary, nor the experience to do it without burning through the clear.

He just seem to be very **** about every freaking thing on the Bora, like he even took apart the little switches to clean them.
Or maybe he just made it seem hardcore because he listed every detail out onto writing...who knows.
But I'm impress by it, that's all

its so facking hot in vegas, its frustrating to wash the car because our hard water dries so quickly, then it leaves nasty water spots super easily. I have to wash side, hood, roof/trunk, side all seperately just to keep the water from drying. its a pain in the assss :P
