Any help on getting water spots off of window?

I didn't see it mentioned so i'll throw it out there.
Try using newspaper with whatever you are cleaning your windows with. I use plain ole windex myself. I know a lot of people who use ammonia and water in a 50/50 mix.
Supposedly the ink in the newsprint has a polishing effect on glass which keeps it from streaking. it also won't leave lint everywhere.

this is what i used and worked wonders!!
i had bad water spots on my rx8, and i used this compound i got at an automotive paint store. i was bored so i tried it and it worked GREAT!!!. Ive also herd this blue window cleaner from walmart works wonders too. worked for me

Stoner's for the windows, usually works. If not polish them. If your wash is spotting, I just use a few gallons of distilled water + optimum no rinse for a wash and never have to deal with spotting... In fact, if the car is in a clean area, I can let it air dry and it won't spot. Just don't try it when there is lots of pollen in the air.

i detail for a dealer and the easiest way to do it is too get fine steel wool and class cleaner...less then 30 seconds spray and wipe with the wool. then apply wax to your windshield... that way it keeps your windshield clean and keep impurities off...
