last Sat the weather was pretty nice, so i figured I would put a layer of turtle wax ICE on the RX8 for ***** and gaggles. I've driven the RX8 all winter ( and its first winter) and I wax'd it with NXT Tech wax in Jan.

so after a nice car wash/detail w/ ICE detailer, the front looked like this

Very impressive. I haven't pulled the trigger and used the stuff yet, but am considering it.

 

it looks like it successfully covered up all the chips and scratches? is that true. Were those "before" pics AFTER a good wash and scrub? or just as your car was before you did any cleaning to it.

The fact it went from "that" to looking brand new seems hard to believ (i'm a zaino man myself)

 

im guessing there is grime and dirt on the bumper in the before pic. i never heard of wax filling in chips.

yep those before pictures was taken after washing it @ a self wash place, dried, and then completely wiped down with ICE Detailed

I think my camera (rebel XTi) is making it better/worst than it actually is. you can kind of tell from the last AFTER picture that there are still a couple rock chips from winter driving. But other wise the rest of the little ones just disappeared!

I think I need a new front bumper, or a repaint.
