What class would this car run in? It's a 13b powered Sunbeam Alpine I was involved in building 15 years ago that I'm currently "babysitting"...I'm thinking it would have to go into E Mod?

I would say emod given that similar MG's and Triumph's are in that class, but I did not check the book. Looks like a fun car though perhaps not real competitive in class given the purpose-built stuff that is out there now (which I figure you know already). Sunbeams are really starting to appreciate in value. I check them out from time to time on ebay...the old poor man's Cobra.

Thanks, Cito. Emod makes sense, we're just looking to run the car a little bit, just for fun.

I also have a Tiger that I'm doing a rotisserie restoration on, right now (just finished some welding underneath and wire wheeling the whole interior, now it's going out for media blasting). Those are the fun Sunbeams. Mine runs a roller cam 302 w/aluminum heads...about 375hp in a 2300lbs.

Oh, my friend has no aspirations of running the ralpine at a National level, just doing a couple of local events!

That 20b bug eye must be fun
