What class am I in?
What class am I in?
I did some modifications to my 8, and at the last AutoCross I went to, they put me in SM2 class. However, there were some who say I was in BSP or other classes. I just want a confirmation on this, since I am gonna sign up for MazdaSpeed's motorsports development program, which means I need to send in results. I don't want to be screwed over by people unsure of the rules.
Here's my mod list:
-Cobb AccessPORT Stage 1 Tuning
-Racing Beat midpipe
-MazdaSpeed catback
That's it! Which class am I in now?
SM2 was extremely hard to compete in! There was a completely stripped out Civic hatch and a few stripped out Miatas! There is no way my 3000lbs car was going to take them all out.

Does your car still have cats? What kind of tires do you compete on?
If you're on street tires with a 140 treadwear or higher AND your car still has a fully functioning catalytic converter, you can run in STU (possibly STX next season).
If your car is not catted, welcome to BSP.
If you ever decide to add a power-adder (e.g 3 rotor, turbo or supercharger), our cars are eligible for SM (as well as SM2).

So I'm in BSP now?
