Except a drag strip can't tell anyone 0-60. And when used right (which isn't that hard to do) the GTech can be VERY usefull in measuring gains and losses.

If you knew anything about a Gtech u would know that it very accurate. Like dmp said, a strip cant measure 0-60 times.. but i do plan on taking it to a track... and WATCH OUT.. cuz my times will reflect the same thing. only mods are CZ & B&B mid pipe. and my mad driving skills.. LOL I guess the Gtech had a 12" roll out it says.. I dont know if i can change that. Ill look in the manual and see what/how to change it.. any ways I feel a big diferance.. I went to the dealer and drove a stock one again.. dosent feel nearly as responsive..

Sorry, but I was tired.
Still, posting one graph does nothing for us data junkies. First of all, what are we to compare your time to? Obviously, we cant compare it to historical controls cause you have a 12' roll out which cuts off 0.4 secs. Second, "best runs", which are by definition outliers, are worthless, ego-pumping, replacements for averages (the > the n the better.) Read the recent article in C&D for a good example on comparing these gtech thingys.
I personally would be excited to see data suggesting a high-flow cat or mid pipe making the 8 faster as I have resently desided to pass on the Greddy turbo and save for a custom turbo or sfr with an interceptor, which can be tuned with the hi flow cat.
I also would recommend the autometer computer. it has 3 orthogonal accelerometers to eliminate squat error.

Actually a true data junkie wouldn't say that a data point is an "outlier" just because it's the best of a group...that's not the way outliers should be determined.

Are you questioning my data junkyness? How dare you.

Stuck in a love triangle
Do you actually think you're the first person in two years to use a midpipe with Canzoomer or something? Believe whatever you want to believe...I know your Gtech is wrong. When you can post a timeslip of your car reflecting its 5.5 0-60 bs with a 1/4 mile ET in the low 14s, only then will I bow down to you and insist I'm not worthy.

not to mention that the 1/4 mile time I brought up was never equaled by that driver in that same mod level

about my mad driving skills..that was a joke. If you dident catch he "LOL" after it. I dident realize the 12" rollout untill it was menioned to me.. Whopdy do so it wasent a 5.5.. but damn some of you people get in a tiff over some of the smallest things. ANYWAYS.. I WAS under the impression that the Gtech was very accurate. I guess others think not. I will correct that if i find ou how and redo the run myself with the Gtech. a well as take my car to the track and get a few runs in so that i know that I have "acurate" informtion. and will post it. I dont know what it wll be..Bu hopfully it will enough to make some hotheaded people chill out.
