Warranty Void Upon Joining Mazdaspeed Racer Program?

My engine is cooked. The front rotor housing has no compression. I know that the RX-8 has the 100k mi/ 8yr engine core warranty. I have run the car for 48k miles and it's an 06 so i should still be eligible for the engine core warranty. However, I am registered with Mazdaspeed under the racing program. I have taken my car to a few open track days but never participated in any competition. This said, I was wondering if my engine is still covered despite me being part of the racer program. I know some of you guys are also registered with mazdaspeed so I thought I could get some help here. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

I've been a Mazdacomp member for eight years now ('01-'06 with my Miata, '06-now with my RX-8), and I've never had warranty issues due to membership. That includes major work, like having my transmission rebuilt under warranty last spring.

Yeah, no issues with warranty work while being a member with mazda Motorsports. Haven't had to do any major repairs, but had both front sun visors replaced under warranty.

I've been a member of Mazda Motorsports since 1991 and have never had any problems
with the dealer fixing one of my Mazda cars. I'd say you don't anything to worry about.

Unless you take it in with all the decals still on the car in which case the dealer may go "hmmm".
