tinting question for autox

Im going to get my 8 tinted this week and I am debating getting the front winshield done very light, like 70%, and the rest 20%. my quetion is would I be able to pass inspection with the front winshield tinted, im sure there is a rule in the book somewhere but I figured someone here might know.

It's a comfort & convenience rule. It would be allowed.

I would, however, suggest against it. Most states out there simply don't even allow one to tint the front window below the AS1 line or 4-6 inches (only Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, South Carolina, South Dakota). Impeding a clear vision forward isn't what I call a 'safe' idea... especially on the cloudy/overcast/rainy days.
