L. Strut bars are permitted with all types of suspension. Strut bars
may be mounted only transversely across the car from upper
right to upper left suspension mounting point and from lower
right to lower left suspension mounting point. No other configuration
is permitted. Additional holes may be drilled for mounting
bolts. Only bolt-on attachment is permitted. Interior trim panels
may be modified to allow installation of strut bars. Holes or
slots may be no larger than necessary and may serve no other
purpose. This does not permit any modifications to the frame or
unibody beyond the allowed mounting holes.
So no, they are not allowed since it's a different configuration.

Holy crap I had no idea. I've been running with the engine cover off. Oh well.. it's not like I've been giving anyone any real competition anyway.. heheh. I guess I'll have to put it back on. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know.
BTW team, I guess you've moved now?
McCall, great driving this last weekend at ER. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello. You got me by 1.758 seconds.

what about stock front with an aftermarket rear like mazdaspeed, FEED, etc.?
will strut bars even make a noticable difference?

As far as the rear bar, I just picked up a used MS one and figure I would try it out as long as it's not too heavy. Who knows if it will make a difference or not...
And Mighty, thanks for the compliment. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to come over and say hi. You looked like you picked up a bit in the afternoon though. As far as my times, I was still 1.8 seconds off the winning BMW but *excuse mode* my Falkens are pretty much dead at this point and they were on brand new Yoks. I'll get my new Yoks ordered in the next week or two so I can put a couple of events on them before Nationals.
