GA Stock harness what needs to be in to run?

So engine in, everything's wired up and we have power but theres a car with a key symbol when we try to crank it. What needs to be in the car to run, or removed to disable the immobilizer? (I'm assuming its the immobilizer) We have to get the car to run today. Any help would be great.

Are you using the donor car's keys?

The coil at the ignition lock would be looking for a registered key before a start.

Your easiest solution is likely to get a 2004 6-spd pcm and have Racing Beat reflash it to remove the security. It can only be done on that model year. Otherwise you need the complete set of modules and keys tied to the pcm you’re using or you’ll have to get a dealership or someone with the proper Mazda system to program them to all be unified together.

and dang it, please stop cluttering up the forum making a new thread for every individual question you have.

So I forgot to connect the ground on the power harness by the alternator so it cranks but won't start, The key is the one given when bought the car. Pulled the fuel line and its bone dry but we have tested the pump directly at the source and it worked with 12V's to it. So that's our next problem. Is there any anti-theft that thats pure fuel cut?

Team I search every time, its a lot faster if the answers are already there, but I didn't come across anyone asking about this.

Sorry, you’re even more lost searching then building this race car and these cluttering up the forum threads aren’t helping anyone. It is well discussed, but it doesn’t really matter. Start a build thread or something. We want to help you and then the next person coming here to do something similar is more likely to find it if it’s all together in one place rather than strung out in individual posts all over the place.

If I had the ability to do it I’d go get all these and put them together is a single thread for you, but they don’t want the big bad wolf to have a key to the gate. So all I can do is keep pushing you, nothing personal. You know I’m trying to help.

FYI, there's some discussion on the fuel pump here: https://www.rx8club.com/new-member-f...un-etc-252359/
and here: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tro...-ideas-257715/
(team posted a wiring diagram in that 2nd thread).

Good luck!
