I have on-car videos available from this past weekend's NEDiv. My language is a little vulgar on the Saturday runs if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. MPEG-4 format. Right-click and "save-as" when clicking on the links. Get the latest version Apple's Quicktime if you have trouble with the videos.

 

Do you guys normally leave the radio on? I find that it can at times be distracting. I'll just hit the 'on' button after I cross the finish to hear my time.

I usually leave it on but I don't really hear it when I'm on course. The volume is pretty low and the mics pick it up better than my ears (or my brain just refuses to hear it). John usually turns it off, though.

 

I've been leaving it on lately - you can hear it in most of my videos.

You're right, though, I can't hear with my helmet and the drone of the exhaust but the mics make it sound louder than it is. Maybe because one mic is in the trunk. I wanted to be able to record and play back what the announcers were saying while I was running.

 

Ahh ok... It just sounds loud in the videos.

 

If you're not hearing it, then how do you explain what's distracting you while driving ...

 

It could be all the ******* orange cones some dipsh!t put all over the lot... I know those things were messing me up.

Houston? I was distracted by the gay cowboys dancing in the Mustang in the event logo.

 

GH is a better driver than me in that particular situation, but we'll see what happens when we meet again

I prefer to be beat by some of the best drivers in the nation rather than get beat by myself (like in Oscoda ), we'll see what happens when you venture out of your little pond again, it'snot too late to make Toledo you know
