Should be a great race again this year with the RX-8's battling Porsche, Mustang, Camaro, BMW for the overall win in GT. First few hours maybe in wet conditions, making for lots of on track action. SpeedTv coverage begins with a 2pm EST preview tomorrow and race coverage starting at 3pm.

I'll be there in my poncho (sigh.), can't wait to see the 3 RX8s go wailing by at the start of the race!

 

4 RX-8s leading the field to the green, and out of courtesy, we will have one of them pull to pit road to give the rest of the field a chance.

I hope there is good TV coverage on the 8s today by SppedTV.

 

Its still early...but5 hours in and porsche is dominating GT and mazda is no where to be seen except flying off the track

 

sad #69 took a dive off the track when making it's surge back to the lead pack. shame. it's said by the drivers and crew it was every bit as good at the 70 this year but with better racing setups since the drivers are more similar.

69 ate it hard!!!

 

69 only lost 4 laps down to 13th in class, they are up to 12th again, no visible damage taking a look at it under caution.

Nothing critical it seems.

no #70 isn't running. just went from 2nd on the lead lap now to 7 laps back and still not running

 

Never say never, The #70 is back into third.
