Does your street wheels has to be BS legal as well? I ask that because I was shopping for wheels this weekend, and saw Tire Rack sells a couple wheels that look very close to the MS ones. They are by ASA and Kazera, 18" x 8.5", 45mm offset and about 22.5lbs. And you don't have to wait. Just an idea.
I'm considering them for street and use the stocker for autox, unless I can find a cheap set of stocker.

I could even get the P45 right now if I would take an 18X8.5.

I talked to Hawk about those when I was getting some of my free contigency pads and they said do not use those for motorsports. The stock pads work great, no reason to change.
Keeping the OZ clean is a PITA but I also think the wheel is to busy. I like 5 and 6 spoke wheels. Would love a set of SSR GT2s for the street, but I have only been able to find an 18X8.5".

I only chose Black for DKNV's RX-8 because I wanted a more aggressive pad that still worked cold, couldn't get what I really wanted in the OE pad shape, and don't care about dust or cleaning wheels. And autox isn't motorsports, at least not from Hawk's perspective. For them motorsports = heavy track duty. If I wanted a less aggressive pad or don't want wheel cleaning issues I'd choose the Ceramics over OE.
