New parts!!!

I had a chance to talk with the guys from Tri Point this past weekend at our auto x. They have a RX8 they have been playing with. Over the winter, after World Challenge is over, they plan to work on some new stuff for the 8. They are looking at swaybars and a set of affordable inverted shocks for the rear so you can adjust on the car.

Far as I know that is one of three places, Koni NA, True Choice or Tri Point. I for one dont think the current ones, 28 series, are a great deal at $3800.00. They plan to make a set the regular guys can afford.

well that only leaves the 30 Series option, and those would have to come off the car and taken apart from the spring to make the compression adjustment

unless they plan to take the standard SA and invert it, but that wouldn't make much sense to me

They are talking a 30 series with rebound only adjustment. So you would lose the compression adjustment but would gain rebound that can be adjusted on the car. Better tha what we have now. On the other hand if they want $2k or more for the 30 series might as well get the 28s.

I disagree, but what's new. I haven't found it necessary to run high rear rebound anyways.
