The two primary sponsors of that bill are

Michael J. Panter

Robert Lewis Morgan

Both are in the same 12th District of NJ which is right next to Raceway Park.

This might affect the opening of Millville Raceway. How far along are they on that track?

I found out today at my local SCCA autocross event that this bill is going to get shot down very quickly. The 2 representatives who proposed the bill only did is to shut up their constituants.

The Millville Raceway is waiting for approval from 2 more organizations before they break ground in Febuary. They need approval from the FAA and the municipality still. There are going to be public hearings in december on it at Millville town hall in NJ. So far it looks like everything is going to stay on track for them to break ground in Febuary, and hopefuly open up for partial operations in the Spring of '06.
