NASA MidOhio June
If anyone in the club is going to the NASA event next weekend at MidOhio, we will be paddocked in the upper grassy area. You're welcome to join us and several other Mazda owners in our "corral". Look for the Black and White Trailer with the TeethNThings logo. Newbie friendly.

Doc,
I presume this means you got the car fixed!?
Awesome, great to see the perseverance. Doing wheel to wheel again?
I won't be making this one - getting a new cat and possibly motor under warranty. Planning for my next events to be Waterford 7/25, Gingerman 8/18, and Mid-O on 10/21.
I got a chance to run Waterford in April and Gingerman in May, both great events. Clearly, I caught the bug. I highly recommend Gingerman - went off twice at 80+ and nothing to run into but grass! The course a little boring compared to Mid-O but the huge, safe runoff makes it a playground for full sized cars.
Also got the car dialed in pretty good - spent a weekend slotting out the subframe, shaving the UCA, and drilling the RARB which resulted in some much-appreciated oversteer .
Great to see you back out there, best of luck at Mid-O.

Yeah, we got the car back together. I picked up a Spec Miata and have been running it. This will be the first rerun with the 8, so it will be a big weekend.
There's pics of the job up at: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showt...ing-Doc-s-RX-8!

Don't know if you remember me, but I autocrossed with you a couple times at the Toledo Airport. I'll be down at Mid-O this weekend with a group of friends. I'll be sure to stop by and say hi.
