Thanks Chike.

Oh, and this came up on a local group regarding car numbers.

This can't be stated strongly enough. With the bar code on your
helmet, you get scanned as you come up to the line. T&S knows who is
driving the car. If the numbers on BOTH sides of the car don't match
what the computer says your number is, that run will be DSQ'd. From
what I've seen this year, that is a zero tolerance policy.

What if the car number is right, but you are wearing the wrong helmet?

My co-driver found that out the hard way at the Toledo Pro -- luckily it was during his first heat runs on Saturday morning (which are toss-away runs anyway).

Does anyone know if rain was a factor on Day 1? Harvey is leading the BS class by a good margin and ran a time just 0.3 seconds slower than Braun in SS.

JT is 2nd in his DS Audi TT -- not too shabby considering the 90 run hoosiers.

Milwaukee NT Provisional Results

Harvey took a solid win followed by Tovsen and then Austin. Fenter over Bartek in CS (Bartek had a blazing Day 2 time), and JT was second in DS behind Ansorge (JT coned away a run that could have given him the win).

I'd be interested in hearing how the rain came and went during the event, as the numbers really seem to be skewed across various classes...

The SCCAForums post is accurate, I can add a little more detail for our run group based on my "questionable" memory. Saturday Heat 3 started out completely wet with a few moderate puddles/streams that made the decision to run slicks or wets a difficult call. A-stock ran in Heat 2 and the leader was on wets, while 3rd place Tharpe was on slicks with the fast raw, but dirty times.

We elected to go with the A6's since it appeared it would likely dry out through Heat 3. Much like Saturday Peru Tour runs, the 3rd runs would really be the only ones that mattered since conditions were improving throughout the Heat. We ended up with 80-90% dry conditions with a very light mist for 3rd runs. Some key braking areas and corners were still a little slick and easy to over drive. A great challenge, but not as thrilling as the Sunday dry runs. Two thumbs up to Jeff Cashmore for some awesome courses that were technically challenging but still managed to flow well.
