benn a while since I have posted but figured some of you would enjoy this :-). It was a crazy finish aka scary finish to my race a few weekends ago! 5th to 2nd in last turn last lap. Dry tires for everyone made for some tense moments at the end. I had intermediates on because I swithched tires. Moments before the start watching the radar, however I had a stock rear diff in the car which was worn out and essentially an open diff. (Waiting to get my 5:12 back)

At least it didn't spin widly to either side and could avoid damage.

Hell of a way to finish, but i guess i would be excited to move up 3 places in under a 1/4 mile!

 

It was "exciting" but glad i it didn't result in anything worse. I would have felt terrible if I took out the bmw!

I will try and be better about posting up fun stuff this year, Hopefully no spinning and just some good clean racing!

If you were really cool ............ you would give the driver behind you the finger as you crossed the line and make out it was all part of your victory celebration .

 

Ha ha, ya I know no spins is zzzzz. :-) I was the second car on track to race at the new Thompson speedway this past weekend. Real fun track. I do have some "zzzzzzz" video Thai I can share if anyone is interested I well download it :-)

Saw this guy tear it up this past weekend at Thompson. Surely nothing as intense as that video (lol) but exciting to watch none-the-less.

 

I wish we meet in person! (If we did I didn't realize it was you) I really wish I had because I definetly would have given you some race tires or at least some good dunlops to use since they were just sitting in the trailer.

I'll be sure to hunt for you next time so we can meet in person. I came by early in the morning before I had to head up to the autocross pad, roughly around 8am, that's when i snagged the pic of your car. Didn't see anyone around so I figured you guys were prepping or something.

 

Haha, probably sleeping, when you don't need to be on track till noon you tend to stay up way to late the night before!
