I've been using the Koni+H-Tech combo for 2 seasons now.
With the Konis at 50% stiff up front 25% rear, the daily drive is very comfortable.
At the track, there's noticable improvement over stock as well.

you really can't go wrong with either. the s-techs spring rates are slightly stiffer, but also a lower drop. the koni settings may play a bigger part in handling.

the s techs will also limit your upsiding tires/wheels--to much drop.

If you are ever in Houston when there is an RX-8 meet I'm sure if you ask anyone will give you a ride and show you the difference. A few of us has Koni Yellows and mazdaspeed. I'm not sure of all the different set ups but everyone seems to be a little different.
