i can dig it, what i'm pointing out is that those of us who have run and developed STU rx-8s know what the car can do in ST*, what can be done differently, and where the remaining speed lies. we learned some hard fought lessons and i at least would be willing to help out a STX effort with setup notes and recommendations.

gotcha. just be careful of the direction setup takes if he runs STX. i've seen one post for STX rx-8 success on another forum by a rx-8 vet which was dead wrong.
