43 miles / 10.5 gallons = 4.1 mpg. Yikes... Anyone do better?

Maybe its because I was at a test n tune doing 55 runs! Between me and a codriver. Just trying to kill of my original OEM dunlops before TeamRX8's generous V710s arrive in the mail. Goodbye street tires, hello R-compounds. finally!

 

I have not gotten it down that low, but did average just under 8 for a whole day at the track last year.

our RX-8s go through 10 gallons just on an autox weekend

 

My track days consumption is as worse as these.
31 L/100km = 7.58756724 miles per gallon

I get at least 150km a tank.

 

9 miles per gallon here, on willow spring, big willow, and button willow.

 

7.8 on Gateway Int'l Raceway at a PDX last year.

 

Last two track events I got 4.75 MPG the first one and about 8 MPG the second one.
