Hello All,
I have a couple of helmets that are old, deteriorated and should be retired.
What is the best way to take care of them?

 

We usually just throw them away in a landfill or bring them to the closes recycling center if they are.
They should make refurbishable helmets like the football ones though

 

Believe it or don't I actually put my 12 year-old Bell Mag 4 on feeBay and got $25 for it. And they paid me to ship it to them! I was very detailed about it's age and condition, including some chips on the exterior, and the buyer was completely satisfied.

 

Give them to a kid who loves indoor karting....they will work well at low speeds...and they have to be better than most you get at the indoor places

 

put it on and run as hard as you can head first into a brick wall to test if it's still good ......
