What about the BFG R1's? Any news on those? How are they?

Chris Harvey is driving a RX8 at the Chicago-Scca event this weekend. I think he is testing out the BFGs. I will be watching carefully and post what I learn.

 

A guy I know has the BFG on his enduro car.... Says they are a good road race tire but does not think they get up to speed quick enough for autox. Then there is that pesky little fact that they still don't make enough size to be legal yet.

 

They have a whole 20 days; I'm sticking with Kuhmo until one of you big shots proves otherwise. Someone with more talent, deeper pockets, bigger ***** and free time can try to challenge what has already proved to work.
