Now that I've torn down our soon to be race car engine, is porting worth it if you're not running a stand-alone ECU? The porting is relatively cheap getting it CNC machined, but can you take advantage of it running the stock ECU? This engine seems pretty futile when it comes to getting power out of it. But I'll leave that to you pros. Opinions on the question?

IMO, no. Not worth it.

Minimal (if any) performance gain that comes with costs and potential reliability issues.
