Congrats!
Are there rules governing the distribution of in-car photage for nationally televised races like this? I'd expect the answer to be yes but if it happens to be no, it would be really cool if you could post the whole race somewhere.

The RX-8 is looking better in TC, just a little over a second off the pace at LB, much better than St. Pete. While I did not get a chance to get over and talk to Eric (spent most of my weekend working with one WC and one ALMS team) he is putting on a great show in the paddock. Many of the veteran teams should be ashamed, he is making them look bad with the vibe he has going on in his paddock.
Overall this year the teams and drivers were much less accessible, undoubtedly in part to the poor scheduling for the weekend.
What were they thinking letting Chen out there? You would have thought after his showing last year at Mazda Raceway they would have been watching him at LB. He is dangerously off the pace - nearly nine sec in qual and just as slow in the race, just a rolling chicane. He should not be out there running that slow. Thumbs up to the guy for making the effort, but when you are that slow you put the other drivers at risk.

Guys I am honored to get some love on this post---thank you sincerely. Car was wicked sticky in qual at Long Beach and then track grip went away for the race. That combined with the big aerodynamic parachute on the front (happened at the start in Turn 1). They did not sweep the marbles after the Indy race and the track was pretty nasty off line and in the front straight braking zone.
The front straight absolutely killed us as all the TC competitors could easy run us down or pull us. 2nd gear out of T11 and then briefly using 6th g before T1. Our #32 car was clearly evil in the brake zones and the twistys. Nothing down the front or back straights (and also the little short chutes). Hopefully WC will put some restrictions on the other, faster cars (like they did for the VW after St. Pete) to bring the class back into some closer racing action.
It was truly a thrill running with the GT guys. CRAZY insane fun. Several of them are very class act drivers. A few just stuff it in there and expect you to give way (no names will be mentioned).
A couple of things:
1. WC races are shown on the web here: http://www.world-challengetv.com/
2. Race photos are numerous on FaceBook. Please come join us. "XOWii Racing" GROUP. You'll see a pic on the #32 car spitting fire.
3. Always, always, always feel welcome to stop by and introduce yourself.

We are currently stuck in beautiful Mesquite NV with 3 broken trailer air bags and two flat tires.

Thanks guys. It was a hard fought second place with second fastest lap time of the race. The Mazda was hooked up somewhat on the very narrow, slippery, rough Toronto street course. We enjoyed several Mazda fans including a whole mess of employees from a local Mazda dealer which I've lost the name of. Currently we are sitting pretty in a solid 2nd place points battle with first being a fairly large lead ahead of us. We plan to try and catch him (Robert Stout in the Toyota Scion) and bring it down to the wire at Miller Motorsports Park for the last race of the season. Mid-O the first week of August is a double header with IndyCar and ALMS. VIR to follow with a double header. Miller is a single and wraps up the season.
