How many trannies are you on (I'm not being facetious). Is this the second or the third? How about the diff? I usually dump around 6200 or so and then modulate the throttle to keep the wheels just above the "grabbing point" until the two meet at 3500 RPM or more. I'm still on my first tranny and diff, so I'm wondering why some have lost one or both with such "drag" type starts. |
3rd, but the issue has been blowing out 2nd gear on the 1-2 upshift, never on the launch
