Guess the seller either weighed the wheel afte me asking, or pulled # out of thin air.

Just buy my 18 x 9 Complete Custom Wheels with RA1's. I will even weigh the combo for you and give you the exact weight.

Except that the title of this thread is BS wheel options and an 18"x9" wheel isn't legal for B Stock.

I know the linked rim is wrong size and offset, but supposedly TireRack can now get these Volks in 18X8 with a legal offset...pricy, but nicey...

Why should I bother, when I just bought a set of wheels and am not considering buying another set, currently?

Anyhow, here's my source of info, do with it as you like, I'm sorry if leghumpers get you excited, baggy...

in the meantime you missed this one:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

Yep, why should you bother, you got your wheels already. Too bad you already forgot what you went through to find out about them

too bad the Solstice has a 5 x 110 pattern rather than the RX-8s 5 x 114 pattern

however, I took the time to do a SEARCH and Volk does offer this wheel in an 8 x 18 @ 44mm 5x114 size

http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2...modelName=RE30

not too many people willing to pay $3000 per set for them though, another detail not mentioned

I'm still waiting to hear back from Buddy Club on the P2 wheel weight, they can be had for $1800/set and I'm *guessing*that they'll be in the weight ballpark, Kodiak claims they can get one down to 16lbs now too

Jeez...I know the pattern is different, the point was that TireRack can do small special orders in the sizing the RX8 needs for BS...I also mentioned that they were "pricey"...either you have to learn to read between the lines better or I need some remedial work on communication skills!

Actually, that would be a sound, or verbal, communication, not to be confused with "reading"...maybe "being read to", but not actively reading...besides, I already acknowledged in my sentence which included "or I need some remedial work" where the potential liability resided, so bringing the poor blind man into the discussion was pointless...much like the last few posts in this thread...

Just a reminder for anyone looking for wheels. I have a set of CCW's Polished alum in 18 x 9 available. Used one year. $1600 for set and they have a set of toyo 245/40/18's mounted with plenty of life left. Used tires for one weekend at Homestead

Jay, please stop trying to sell your non B Stock wheels here. There is the marketplace section. If I was a life insurance salesman would you like it if I kept posting it here??????

He is listing the wrong width. I could be wrong, but I think the width is 8.5" He listed this on ebay 1-2 wks ago for that price and it didn't sell. If it was the correct width, I would have bought it then.

Its an amazing deal though, since tirerack is selling those rims at $419 a pop.

I think they weigh more than that too, those tend to be very heavy compared to the SSR Comp wheels
