Question Brake options for BS

Just got an 8 and I'd like to run in B Stock... however, the discs are pretty well warped and below the resurfacing threshold (according to the local auto parts store). The problem is that none of the auto parts stores carry discs for the 8. So I guess I'm gonna be stuck paying the dealership $100+ per rotor... It just seems like a waste considering rx7store and RB have slotted rotors for less.

Am I right in thinking that any kind of slotted rotor is illegal in BS? They must be blanks correct? Has anybody else had this same issue??

Must be OE type rotors, no slots or holes in stock. I have almost 28k miles on our car, plus one track day, we are still on the first set of rotors and in fact just replaced the first set of pads last week.

p.s. I did use Hawk Blue pads for the track day, other than that we just use the stock pads.

post a WTB in the Parts section. I'm sure there are used sets out there with very little wear. They will most likely be rusty and look pretty bad from storage....but may be a cheaper option for you.

when it comes to brake rotors you usually get what you pay for, cheaper isn't necessarily better
