best way to store your r compunds(mounted)
Guys I was wondering if there are any secrets out there in storing your dedicated track wheels/tires. I have Toyo RA 1's on enkei's and I will not be doing track until the summer is over. What is the best way to store them?
!- low air pressure in the tire
2- in protective bags
4- in cool shed out of the sun?
that is what I am doing so far--any other ideas?

You generally want to keep them isolated as much as possible from air, temperature fluctuations and such. Putting them in opaque plastic bags and storing them horizontally in a somewhat cool, but not cold, place should go a long way.
That said, RA-1s are one of the most durable R comps around and aren't going to be hurt by poor storage techniques like more sensitive tires (Kumho 710s, Hoosiers, etc). With how you've described what you're doing, I wouldn't worry about it.

If I had a basement, I would mount a horizontal pipe with a diameter slightly smaller then the center cap. Then I would slide the wheel onto the pipe. Then cover them with something. This way the tire isn't resting on anything, and the wheels are out of the way. It would look cool too. Wheels for decoration.
