Auto-x Wheel Fitment Question
Hey guys,
I am looking to borrow a set of Volk RE30's off of a Shelby GT (18x8.5") to use on my RX-8 for a practice event. The bolt pattern is the same between the two cars and offset-wise I should be okay, but the RX-8's hub bore is only 67.1. The Shelby's OEM center bore is 70.3, so the center bore of the Volks must be equal to or greater than that. I don't know if there's any risk involved in running a wheel if its center bore is too big. Would I be okay to use the Volks with just some centering rings?
