i was wondering if there was a all rx8 race or something like that on tracks. i was looking through the 350z forums and they have a all 350z race and even the s2000 has one too. i was wondering if the rx8 has something like that...it would be fun to attend and meet other race fans while actually going against them. i was just wondering... if anyone can tell me something concerning this it would be great

There is the Star Mazda series. Not exactly what you're asking but they are all Renesis powered Mazda formula racers.

 

Try going to Step-Hen's site (? www.step-hen.com) In his collected videos section, IIRC he has what appear to be several all Rx8 races ~ they're narrated in Japanese. I've no idea what kind of serries etc. they all Rx8 clips might be from

 

there was an all rx8 race where all the drivers were women. As you can imagine, there were a lot of broken rx8's at the en of the races. Some pretty stupid accidents in those races.

You'll see alot of local Z and S2k groups do track days... I think that is more what you were suggesting? As of yet, i havent seen it yet with other 8 owners.

In our area there are only about 4 RX8 Owners that race. In order to do a track day you usually need about 16 people.

 

Look no more, if you are in the New Hampshire area, the scda club does track days, and if we can get at the least, 10 car, they will give us our own group.. We would have to set this up in advance. It is probably to late for this year, however, that would be something to think about. At the present, there is about 6 of us. we go to the scca and com events aswell. We give hell on the track to the BMW M3's.

Mazda sponcered an event at Willow Springs. There were Seven's and 8's.

 

Hey Razz, where is your next event? I just went out to Willow Springs through NASA and had a great time.

The next event I am going to attend is Willow Springs again in November through www.opentrackracing.com

I just put on the new Toyo T1-R tires and absolutely love them! I didnt experience any lack of grip throughout the entire day.. They are a very impressive tire.

Should be a blast...

HAHA now I remember, you gave me a cd with all the videos on it, nothing new nevermind :p

I know on there next hot version they are going to have a s2k, mazdaspeed rx8, shinka 8, 350z anniversary, and the new g35. I be pretty interested to see how the ms rx8 fair up to the 350z/g35 or even if it could beat the s2k again.
