Achieved 2.0s 60' Down Under
Hi all.
I origially posted this on the end of JudgeITO's sticky, but I decided it had sufficient merit to deserve it's own thread. And I wanted to brag some.
MPH and ET not up to Judge ITO's standard, but a 60' of 2.0xx seconds (twice) with no busted 'box, and no busted clutch. :D
Street tyres.
Driven to the track, driven home again.
I don't know how the temp/humidity compares with your North American tracks.
Best run on the night:
And just to prove that 60' wasn't a fluke...
Stock as a rock engine and PCM.
Hymee Enhanced "Catback"
Cheers,
Hymee.
(EDIT: Originally I was unaware JudgeITO did a 1.9s 60' Congrats mate!)

About the best I can come up with is:
When the green flag drops the bullshit stops!
OK - Here is a better hint than that. No wheel spin. But just one hint for now!
BTW - is Judge gunna post slips??

Spill it...
1) What rpm's did you launch at?
2) Was it a smooth feathering of the clutch, or closer to a drop?
3) What rpm's did you shift to 2nd at?
4) What tire pressure were you running? (Assuming they were stock tires right? Not DR's)
Thanks.

My 1.9 60 foot times have a time slip posted. I ran 14.5 with a 1.9 60 foot times. On my 14.32 my 60 foot times was horrible 2.4 That was on the cars first run that day and is always normal to get about 3 to 4 runs before you could dial in a solid 60 foot time. On the cars second run I broke the first gear on the gearbox. ( I barely made it home) this was 8 months ago. I just made a new thread about my recent day back at the track and the decision I've made to keep drag racing my bone stock Rx8. I feel with a solid launch the Rx8 has a 14.2 in it using 93 octane fuel.

good job hymee and i am glad to see you still have your foot in it Judge!! of course with hymee being in Aussieland we have to take in to account not only humidity and temp but also gravity spins the wrong way down there. not sure what the correction factor is for that
