Nice work by Coulson and Wood. Missed the event for first time since 1998, spent most of the week stuck in the garage listening to the live feed.

Another congrats to Brian...the RX8 is kind of buried in CS, these days (never should have dissolved BS, if you ask me), but he's been consistently fast all year and I was really happy to see him do so well.

To be 100% honest, I was a little disappointed in how STX worked out. I think both Mark and I could have been much faster, but we were chasing a loose car...for me, with basically zero seat time in the car, it didn't inspire confidence, so I drove really defensively. Still, it was a blast and Mark is a great guy to have as a co driver. Anyhow, thanks for the props, guys.

Jim, I'm sorry I didn't see you and Carter, I always enjoy visiting with you. Jason, thanks for your help with the AS ride, but I'm glad I didn't end up having to switch rides...hope the Yaris is coming along ok.

Submitted a letter to the SEB per some new posts in the link above

In summary, the way 13.9.A is written the BHR mounting bracket is an allowed part. The rule can only be clarified by a Tech Bulletin. Disallowing the mounting bracket will require a rule change. This means it will need to go through the formal rule change process. which at the soonest would be Jan. 1, 2013. This would also then provide the time for an ST allowance if the STAC and SEB are willing to permit one.
