Looks like only me and Hong Wong Fooey signed up for STX at the Pro Finale, which means the B1 bump class for us.

STX has become the wasteland for lame autocrossers ....

Sounds like a tire (brand) change, which takes away your previous runs.

Mark coned again, and I didnt have a rear upper control arm bolt for my first 2 runs, so my rear wheel was doing funky things! Got everything tight and am going out tomorrow to give it my all.

Any issues come up with the whole ignition coil clarification? Or did everyone just leave the BHR coils at home?

I was informed this morning that amistake was made in the points calculations and that Jeff Wong is the 2011 Pro Solo STX Class Champion. I had questioned it after the awards banquet, but apparently it took five days for them to figure it out with everything else that was going on this week.

Good luck guys. Hopefully I will get my car fast enough to compete. I am still running completely stock but think I will go into STX next year as it is a better multiplier. Hopefully I can make some money available to add some goodies to the car.

After being assured that it was correct it wasn't my expectation to be told "oops" five days later. That said, it would never be acceptable for me to receive the accolades and awards deservedly earned by someone else.

Mark, thanks again for letting me drive the STX car.

I think, day one, we should have had something for the class, with that fun and fast course, but it didn't quite work out. Day two? fuhgettaboutit. If one had tried, you couldn't have designed a course that favored the ST cars more...

Man, it was hot - particularly on Friday.

In STX, Congrats to Shaikh for being the fastest RX-8 driver on the East course, Michael Kuhn for being the fastest RX-8 driver on the West, and Mike Wood for being fastest RX-8 driver overall - and for being the second fastest "real" STX driver. And congrats to all three for getting a trophy. It will be interesting to see what the field looks like next year with the Civics gone, what with 7 of the 12 trophies this year going to the Hondas.

True to my form, I had an off-day on Thursday (east course) but moved myself up a few spots on Friday. I need to learn to drive sweepers better, LOL. I decided to run new stock coils by the way, although Mark's adaptation of the BHR kit seemed fine.

Also, congrats to Brian Coulson for being the top-placing RX-8 in CS.

Don't forget the fastest paxed RX-8 driver, Brian C. Looking at the unofficial pax results he placed 111th with Mike at 423rd. Good job to all... can't believed that CS Solstice paxed 15th overall.
