Question 2011 SCCA GCR T3 Spec Line

I was perusing the electronic version of the 2011 SCCA GCR. New on the spec line for the RX8 under the T3 class is the permission to run a "Mazda Motorsports Exhaust Header Part #0000-06 and Mazda Motorsports Air Intake Part #0000-06-8601" . Unfortunately, the exhaust part number is incomplete and the intake part number comes up blank on the MazdaSpeed web site. Does anyone out there know what's on the SCCAs' mind?

The electronic version I downloaded doesn't seem to be marked "Draft" or "Provisional". It also drops weight this year from 2980 to 2920. Hallelujah !

It is an attempt to make the RX-8 competitive in T3 - although I doubt it is enough. The part numbers could be incorrect, or due to the traditional Mazdaspeed holiday shut down the new part numbers may not be in the online system yet. There is also the possibility that you have to order those parts by phone, and they are likely only available to Club Racers.

the header is likely the SpeedSource piece, if so it is very expensive ~ $2k+ and the intake is likely the Mazdaspeed/AEM CAI part

lose several pounds, gain a bit of power, nothing much ....
